Amoretti Hot Cinnamon Cider – Drink Recipe
The other day we shared with you our Amoretti Bone, one of the stiffest drink recipes we’ve ever published! Concocted from 101-proof rye whiskey, lime syrup, and hot sauce, it’s a pretty serious drink!
When we published that blog post we promised to share a fall cocktail drink recipe for those who prefer something a bit more sweet and mild. Well, here it is: the Amoretti Hot Cinnamon Cider. If ‘hot’ is a turn-off for you, don’t worry – this drink isn’t going to have the same burn as the Amoretti Bone.
The Amoretti Hot Cinnamon Cider is warm and toasty, the perfect flavored alcoholic drink to enjoy outside by a roaring campfire or inside as the cold wind howls! So, without further ado, let’s introduce the recipe…
- 1 shot spiced rum
- 7 oz. hot apple cider
- 1 pump Amoretti Premium Cinnamon Syrup
Simple. Mix well, and enjoy!
Mmmm! This fall drink recipe is easily one of our favorites for two reasons. One, you won’t find a better tasting flavored alcoholic drink – especially a hot one! Two, it’s incredibly easy. We know that life gets busy, and you don’t always have time to get into those gourmet recipes you’re dying to try. When you just want a simple drink you can enjoy now, the Amoretti Hot Cinnamon Cider is perfect.
If you want to spice up this drink recipe a little bit (no pun intended), you could rim the mug with cinnamon and sugar before serving! Also, you might add a cinnamon stick as a garnish (and for the flavor).
Simple things like rimming and garnishes are easy ways to give a basic drink recipe some gourmet flair. These are the little touches that can help earn you the reputation of “best home bartender” amongst your friends!
If you end up making the Amoretti Hot Cinnamon Cider drink this fall, we’d love to see pictures of you and your friends enjoying it! Feel free to share pictures or anecdotes with us and other Amoretti fans on the Amoretti Facebook page. We’re on Twitter, too.
