Cinnamon & Butterscotch Iced Latte

Cinnamon & Butterscotch Iced Latte

As the weather has warmed up, we’ve been experimenting with various coffee syrups and ways of making iced coffee. While you can always pour double-strength brewed ice coffee over ice, there are certainly many more options out there – especially if you have an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.

In our latest iced espresso adventure, we put our espresso machine and cocktail shakers to good use, creating a delicious cinnamon and butterscotch iced latte recipe. This drink recipe is fairly easy to make, and will definitely impress your guests! It has coffee shop-worthy taste and presentation, but doesn’t require any serious barista skills…

  • Ingredients:
  • Directions:
  • Add the two coffee syrups to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Throw the espresso shots over the ice and shake vigorously for five seconds. The shaken espresso, coffee syrups, and ice will foam up. Pour this mixture into a tall Collins glass. Add more ice, if necessary, so that there is roughly two inches of room to the top of the glass. Float whole milk or heavy cream on top of the drink to taste. Do not stir.

A few notes on the syrups…

Amoretti Premium Cinnamon Syrup is popular with many Amoretti fans for its true-to-taste quality. Unlike other cinnamon coffee syrups you may have tried, our cinnamon coffee syrup focuses on intense, cinnamon flavor. If you’re looking for sugar water with a hint of cinnamon, then you might be disappointed. But, if you want the full robust power of real cinnamon, then you’ll love this coffee syrup!

Similarly, Amoretti Premium Crema di Butterscotch Syrup features the real, authentic taste of butterscotch. We sell our butterscotch coffee syrup in three distinct forms (regular and sugar-free being the other two). This version, however, is rich and creamy – perfect for an iced latte. It features that distinct creaminess that will leave you thirsting for more. If you’re accustomed to putting sweetener in your coffee, then you might think about giving this coffee syrup a try instead.

What’s your take on this recipe? We’d love to find out! Let us know your thoughts and comments by emailing us or calling us directly. Feedback from our customers is what keeps Amoretti products fun, creative, and delicious!
