At first glance, the tangerine might be mistaken for a sad, depressed orange. But similar to the bare Charlie Brown Christmas tree, there’s something unmistakably charming and delightful about tangerines.

Perhaps it’s their flavor or petite size, but we can never get enough of them. And admit it: you love them, too!

In our previous blog post highlighting the Amoretti Tango Martini Cocktail Mix, we discussed the various uses of this incredible tangerine flavor. Whether it’s the martini, wine-tini, sangria, or well drinks, the tangerine, and the martini mix, fits into every recipe just as easily as it would fit into your lunch sack.

Today, we’re taking vibrant orange flavors to the next level to showcase a Kentucky favorite. While it’s not a classic like the Mint Julep at the Kentucky Derby, the Kentucky Sidebar is certainly magical and prolific. And using our martini mix, we think we’ve perfected the recipe.

It’s a mysterious taste that many find synonymous with Kentucky. It’s a flavor that’s feisty, fiery, and strangely beautiful.

The Kentucky Sidecar is a popular cocktail recipe not only because of the incredibly fruity flavor balanced with tartness, but also because of the simplicity of the recipe itself.
