Try an iced tea flavored with Violet Lavender Syrup!

  • 2 cups of flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup whole milk

First, mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl. When everything is thoroughly mixed, begin whisking in one egg at a time, beating well before adding the next one. Add the milk, butter, and zest. Mix thoroughly until completely smooth.

Take a pan that you’ve generously coated with butter and flour and begin spooning your batter into the pan. Allow the batter to completely flatten and smooth before you place into your preheated oven.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or until you can smoothly insert and remove a toothpick without any sticking.

As the pound cake is baking, it’s time to prepare the lavender syrup! Take ¾ cup of Amoretti Premium Violet Lavender Syrup and mix in 10 ounces of blueberries and 2 teaspoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Place into a glass container for easy serving.
