Great Uses for Amoretti Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar

Aged Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar

Traditionally, balsamic vinegar is made from wine. And, though we love tradition, we’re also breaking the mold with all of our products. We decided to really break the mold when we opted to use pomegranates instead of wine to make Amoretti Premium Aged Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar. The bottle is available in 500 ml format and in 50 ml format as a part of our olive oil trio.

Did you think balsamic vinegar was just for salads? While it is great on a freshly tossed salad, balsamic vinegar can do so much more than serve as a simple salad dressing. Here are a few of our favorite uses for this great aged vinegar…

Glazes – We love using this vinegar as a glaze. Whether you’re cooking poultry, seafood, or red meat, our Aged Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar offers a simple way of making a standard dish taste out of this world. Its sweet and tangy flavor yields a nice balanced taste that’s unique but not so eccentric that it’s inaccessible!

Sauces/Marinades – You can use this balsamic vinegar as a sauce on its own, or you can mix it with other fresh herbs or sauces to have something that’s entirely your own creation. Mix it with some kind of creamy base to get a great chip and veggie dip.

We discovered we could do some amazing work with olive oil, vinegar, and vinaigrette.

Pearl Onions – Add some red wine, vegetable broth, and light seasoning (optional) to this balsamic vinegar, and simmer some pearl onions in the concoction. This has quickly become our favorite way to cook any kind of onion. The onions can then be used in a variety of dishes, from stir-fries to risottos.

Dessert – Vinegar as dessert? That’s right! If you’ve never tried this surprising combination, you should try this option first. Lightly drizzle just a little bit of balsamic vinegar on vanilla ice cream, berries, or other freshly sliced fruit for a great treat. With some lower quality balsamic vinegars, you might have to add a small amount of granulated sugar. But, don’t worry about any such augmentations with our Aged Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar!

Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that our Aged Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegars is one of the only kosher balsamic vinegars on the market. Plus, it’s all-natural, gluten free, vegan, preservative- and GMO-free, and sodium-free. We can’t think of any reason why this vinegar can’t be a part of your diet – unless you have a pomegranate allergy!
