Crazy for coffee? So are we.
Iced coffee? No, not so much?
For a lot of coffee drinkers, iced coffee is the line in the sand. Cross over into that land of iced coffee and you’ve lost your identity as a coffee-drinker. At least that’s what the double-walled, insulated, ceramic-lined travel mug coffee drinkers will try to make you think.
But that’s not the case.
We’re here to tell you iced coffee isn’t some second-rate version of your favorite part about the morning. In fact, when you have a good iced coffee drink recipe, you might even be led to believe that iced coffee is the first-rate version of your favorite morning beverage.
Today we’re sharing one of the first iced coffee recipes we ever fell in love with, our Marzipan & Irish Cream iced coffee recipe. This drink recipe brings together two unlikely coffee syrups, Amoretti Premium Irish Cream Syrup and Amoretti Premium Marzipan Syrup, for one delectable result! See the recipe below…
Marzipan & Irish Cream Iced Coffee Recipe
- 2 shots espresso
- 1 pump Amoretti Premium Irish Cream Syrup
- 1 pump Amoretti Premium Marzipan Syrup
- Cream (to taste)
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add Amoretti Premium Irish Cream Syrup and Amoretti Premium Marzipan Syrup to the cocktail shaker. Pull two shots of espresso. Throw the shots over the ice and shake vigorously for 5-7 seconds. Pour all of the mixture (no straining) into a Collins glass or a favorite cold to-go cup. Add ice until there’s an inch to an inch-and-a-half of room. Float cream (to taste) on top of the iced espresso. Serve with a straw.
Where’s the ‘Wow’ Factor?
For most of us, this drink brings all of the ‘wow’ factor. The delicious flavors of Irish cream and marzipan offer something you definitely won’t find at your local neighborhood coffee shop. But if you’re looking to give this recipe a little something extra, we’ve got you covered.
Make your own Pistachio Praline-flavored whipped cream using Amoretti Premium Pistachio Praline Syrup. All you have to do is follow the simple recipe included in the link! Any Amoretti coffee syrup will work in this recipe, but we’re rather partial to pistachio praline when it comes to the combination of flavors found in this drink recipe.
