Jalapeno cornbread, Jalapeño Pepper bread, Jalapeño Cornbread

Sweet and spicy, this moist cornbread makes for a great side dish!



    1. In mixer with whisk attachment combine flour, cornmeal, salt, baking powder and sugar.
    2. In a separate bowl whisk together eggs, buttermilk, milk and baking soda.
    3. Add to dry ingredients and mix to combine.
    4. Add cooled, melted butter, Amoretti Vanilla Extract and Amoretti Jalapeño Pepper Extract.
    5. Mix to combine, scraping bowl.
    6. Pour into a greased or sprayed 8″ square pan.
    7. Bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes, or until a stick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    8. Once removed from oven, melt 2 tablespoons butter and add the Amoretti Maple Compound, stirring to combine.
    9. Brush the mixture on top of the cornbread and let sit for 3-5 minutes.
    10. Best enjoyed warm! Slice and serve.
