Make Gourmet Drinks With This Valentine’s Drink Recipe
There’s a drink for virtually every occasion. When it comes to Valentine’s Day, there are a lot of drinks that are appropriate. The basic requirements, however, are that the drink is red and that there’s champagne somewhere in the mix. We suppose chocolate would be perfectly acceptable, too!
In our last post, we shared the “Currant-sy of Love,” one of our favorite Valentine’s drink recipes. We’re calling the drink recipe in this post the Amoretti Lover’s Punch. If you’re hosting a Valentine’s Day party, then doubling up on this recipe is a great way to entertain. Plus, it’s quite an affordable punch! Then again, a drink recipe that tastes this good can probably be split two ways.
Amoretti Lover’s Punch
- 1 ½ cups pomegranate juice
- 1 cup Amoretti Pear Martini Cocktail Mix
- ¼ cup orange-flavored liqueur
- 1 bottle champagne or Prosecco
Combine all ingredients together in a pitcher, slowly adding the champagne to prevent the bubbly from getting too bubbly. Serve in cocktail glasses over ice. Fall in love.
By the way, if you’ve never tried any of our martini/cocktail mixes before, our pear cocktail mix is a great place to start. It might be one of the best cocktail mixes we have for pairing with Prosecco, sparkling wine, or champagne. Because pear is such a light and “soft” flavor, the zest of Prosecco can compliment it quite nicely. Other more “intense” and tangy cocktail mixes (our lemon drop mix, for example) can compete with the zest of Prosecco just a little too much. Stick with pear for this drink recipe, and we don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
If you are disappointed – for any reason whatsoever – then we definitely want to know. We pride ourselves in our world-class customer service. If you ever have a problem with an Amoretti product, then we want to do whatever we can to make it right. We firmly believe in having satisfied customers. And that’s no Valentine’s Day gift; it’s just our policy… year-round.
