Make Gourmet Espresso Drinks: Vanilla & Pistachio Latte

This March, we’re looking to change things up a bit with our morning coffee routines. In recent months, we’ve been making gourmet espresso drinks that are creamy, sweet, and rich. While we love these decadent early morning treats, we’ve decided to switch over to the nuttier side of things.

Meet our latest drink recipe, the Amoretti Vanilla & Pistachio Latte, which brings together two unlikely coffee syrups, pistachio and creamy vanilla…

  • Ingredients:
  • Directions:
  • Steam your plant milk as you pull the espresso. We recommend using almond milk in order to get that smooth nuttiness. However, if you’d like to get a richer and sweeter taste, then opt for coconut milk instead. Add your two coffee syrups, swirling them in with the espresso so that they fully dissolve. Our Crema di Vanilla Syrup is a little thicker than our average coffee syrup, so make sure to swirl it thoroughly with the espresso! Pour your steamed milk while holding back the foam. Add a dollop of foam, and enjoy!

    About the Coffee Syrups

Amoretti syrup fans are probably well aware that we offer a number of vanilla coffee syrups. Seven of them, in fact. While we try not to pick favorites, we are big fans of Amoretti Premium Crema di Vanilla Syrup, a tasty and unique coffee syrup that is creamy and absolutely delicious. If you’re used to overly sweet, vanilla-tinged sugar water, then be ready for a change with Amoretti Premium Crema di Vanilla Syrup. Our vanilla syrup is a robust proprietary compound that is made from all natural ingredients and real flavors.

Similarly, Amoretti Premium Pistachio Praline Syrup is made from the real thing.  Though we promote our pistachio syrup as a coffee syrup, it can be used in a wide variety of drinks, including iced teas, cocktails, and more. If you’re interested in learning more about pistachios, be sure to check out this write up we did on one of California’s favorite nuts! (California produces 98% of the nation’s pistachio crop.)

If you make this gourmet espresso drink or adapt it to be your own, then we’d love to hear about it! Share your experience with us on the Amoretti Facebook page. Or, find us on Twitter, where we frequently share pictures of our delectable recipes and treats!
