Who doesn’t like birthday cake?

Who doesn’t like birthday cake? Seriously. We dare you. Say you don’t like birthday cake.

Can’t be done, right?

Okay, maybe there are the rare and oft-silenced dissenters out there, but for the rest of us, there’s Amoretti Birthday Cake Artisan Flavor. Since we launched our consumer-geared natural artisan flavors this past spring, Birthday Cake has held steady as one of the top-selling, most popular flavors in the Amoretti Store.

And for good reason – if we do say so ourselves. When we designed this product, we decided we didn’t want any artificial sweeteners or preservatives. While this approach presented some challenges, we’re pleased to say that we pulled it off – using only natural flavors! Because our flavoring extracts are made from all-natural flavors, you know that your family is getting the best.

Use Amoretti Birthday Cake Artisan Flavor for baking a birthday cake (or any cake), gelato, ice cream, or anything else you might imagine. To get things started, we created a tasty birthday cake ice pop recipe. Check it out…

Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor, removing any froth from the top with a wooden spoon. Pour the blended mixture into freezer-friendly cups or ice pop trays. Allow the ice pops to freeze for about 30 minutes; remove and add wooden sticks. Return to the freezer for 3-5 hours or until fully frozen. Enjoy!

Make It the Best Birthday Yet…

This is a great treat for summertime birthday parties or get-togethers. It’s refreshing, easy to pull off, and can be done in bulk. Also, if you’re pressed for time (i.e. you don’t have 5 hours for this mixture to freeze), then we advise turning this birthday cake ice pop recipe into a milkshake. Here’s how you do it:

  • Freeze the bananas ahead of time.
  • Add frozen bananas with other ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Serve with a straw.

We aren’t going to call it a breakfast smoothie, but if you’re inclined that way, so be it.
