Spring is a time for new creations, and there are few creations we’ve been enjoying more these last few weeks than our cocktail creations. Whether you’re hosting a spring fête in the next few weeks, or whether that last PTA conference held one surprise too many, we think you’ll enjoy our latest floral drink recipe, which features vodka, iced peppermint tea, ginger ale, and Amoretti Premium Elder Flower Syrup, one of our finest floral beverage syrups!

A Few Notes on the Drink Recipe

Choose a good, high-quality vodka for use in this recipe. While any vodka will do, a great vodka will give this drink a nice clean finish.

Iced peppermint tea may be difficult (if not impossible) to come by in your local grocery store. Don’t worry! Making iced tea of any variety is very simple. When making iced tea, brew at double strength. Transfer to a shockproof container (i.e. not your porcelain tea pot) and add ice. Depending on the strength of tea that you want, you may wish to add a minimal amount of ice and then put the tea in the refrigerator to chill.

Lastly, finely sliced cucumbers will unlock more flavor than bigger chunks. Also, finer slices have a higher aesthetic appeal, if you ask us!

Other Uses for Amoretti Elder Flower Syrup

If you enjoy Amoretti Premium Elder Flower Syrup, then you might want to know about one of our other favorite uses for this delicious floral beverage syrup… The Elder Flower Gin & Tonic.

The gin and tonic is a classic for good reason: it’s hands down one of the best tasting, easiest-to-make drinks of the last one hundred years. While some good things are better left unchanged, we’ve got nothing against playing with the gin and tonic a little bit. Try adding some of our elder flower floral beverage syrup to your next gin and tonic to see how different this standard can be!
