Amoretti Pumpkin Dip

A unique flavorful dip for any autumn or holiday gathering.

Pumpkin Dip Ingredients

Discover the savory side of Amoretti®.


    • 1½ cups of roasted pumpkin
    • 1½ cups of cooked chickpeas
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 lemon, juiced
    • 1 – 2 tablespoons water
    • 1½ teaspoons Olive Oil (for pumpkin)
    • 1 tablespoon Amoretti Olive Oil (for dip)
    • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
    • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
    • few drops (6-8) of Amoretti® Cinnamon Oil Extract (for dip)
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • Amoretti® Olive Oil for serving


    1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
    2. Cut a roughly 2.5 – 3 lb pumpkin in half and scoop out seeds.
    3. Rub 1½ teaspoons olive oil on the inside and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    4. Place on a baking sheet, olive oil side down and roast for about 30 minutes.
    5. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
    6. Once cooled, scoop out 1½ cups worth.
    7. Add pumpkin, 1 tablespoon of Amoretti® Olive Oil, chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of water to the food processor and blend until smooth.
    8. Add the smoked paprika, cumin and a few drops of Amoretti® Cinnamon Oil Extract and blend well. (If dip is a little thick, add the additional tablespoon of water and blend again.)
    9. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
    10. Place dip in serving dish and add a few drops of Amoretti® Olive Oil on top.
    11. Serve with pita triangles or pita chips.
