You can use it to replace the cinnamon in any sweet or savory recipe with a shot of pure, alcohol-free cinnamon flavor. Try replacing the usual measure of powdered cinnamon in your baking recipes with a few drops of Amoretti cinnamon oil extract and see what a flavor difference it makes. Add a drop or two to your family’s oatmeal, applesauce, or holiday cider to add a unique flavor note.
You can use Amoretti cinnamon oil extract in combination with other Amoretti products to make everyday meals into something special. A side dish of boiled or steamed carrots sounds boring. Maple orange glazed carrots, on the other hand, sounds like something they will run to the table for!
Maple Orange Glazed Carrots
In a large sauté pan, heat butter over medium heat until melted. Add carrots and salt and toss to coat. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes, add Amoretti maple syrup, and cook for 1 minute more. Add orange juice, cover the pan, and cook for 3 minutes.
Uncover the pan and increase the heat to medium high. Stirring the carrots occasionally, cook until most of the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat. Stir in Amoretti orange zest oil and Amoretti cinnamon oil extract. Transfer carrots to a serving dish, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve.
