A fresh and healthy frozen treat, perfect for those summer days!


    Amoretti Tart Apple Artisan , Flavoring, Ice Cream Flavoring,

    Amoretti Artisans are packed with rich flavor to make delightful sorbets!

    • 5 Granny Smith apples
    • ⅓ cup lemon juice
    • ⅓ cup sugar
    • 2 cups apple juice
    • 1 tablespoon Amoretti® Tart Apple Artisan
    • ¼ diced honeydew melon
    • 5-6 diced fresh mint leaves


    1. Cut, core and slice apples.
    2. Poach slices over medium heat with lemon juice, sugar and apple juice until soft, about 5 minutes.
    3. Set aside to cool.
    4. Puree apples and all liquids in pan.
    5. Strain to remove skins and add Amoretti Sour Apple Artisan.
    6. Discard skins.
    7. Chill mix overnight or at least 4 hours.
    8. Freeze sorbet container overnight or for 4 hours.
    9. Dice honeydew melon and set aside.
    10. Dice mint leaves and add to melon.
    11. Cover and chill for one hour.
    12. Pour sorbet mix into ice cream maker and mix until frozen.
    13. Spoon melon/mint mixture into glass bowl or martini glass.
    14. Place scoop of sorbet on top.
    15. Top with mint leaf.
