Hawaiian Shaved Ice With Amoretti
We have the perfect recipe for you and your kids to enjoy together this summer: Amoretti Hawaiian Shaved Ice. This recipe is sure to give your family a treat they’ll love. Plus, it’s far healthier than a bowl of ice cream, and it’s easy to prepare and serve.
Hawaiian shaved ice is a great summertime tradition. Around the same time at the ice cream truck begins its rounds, you start to notice Hawaiian shaved ice trucks coming out of the woodwork, out posting in shopping center parking lots all across America. However, there’s no need to drive out to these trucks when you can make your own Hawaiian shaved ice at home. Also, we’re positive that Amoretti is providing better and more unique citrus syrups than whatever you’ll find from any vendor.
Our unique orange syrups are the absolute best available. We think the dark and delicious Amoretti Premium Blood Orange Syrup is one of the tastiest syrups to use in Hawaiian shaved ice. Try this recipe to whet your appetite for more of this healthy, low-calorie summer treat:

- Prepare your ice:
This will be the most labor-involved part of the recipe, though it’s still not much work at all! If you have a shaved ice machine, great! Follow the instructions to create ice that is light and fluffy. If not, you can get similar results fairly easily using a traditional blender.
- Add about two cups of ice to a traditional blender and blend until you get tiny ice shards. You may want to shift the ice around to be sure you don’t have any large chunks.
- Scoop ice into bowls or fruit cups.
- Pour a shot glass (or to taste) of Amoretti citrus syrups over the shaved ice.
Easy, right? Of course you can use any of our syrups. We just happen to be partial to our citrus offerings for this delicious summertime treat! Because Amoretti Hawaiian Shaved Ice is so simple, it’s open to all kinds of variations. Whether you choose to use something other than our unique orange syrups, or you choose to garnish with fruit, we want to hear about what you’re doing in your kitchen! We believe that recipes only get better with collaboration and experimentation, so drop us a line to let us know what’s been inspiring you lately!
