Vegetarian Black Bean Chili with Tangerine and Cumin

  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 ½ cups chopped onion
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 t chili powder
  • 4 t ground cumin
  • 2 t ground cinnamon
  • 3 15.5 oz. cans seasoned black beans, drained
  • 2 14.5 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
  • ¾ cup Amoretti Premium Tangerine Martini Mix
  • Hot sauce
  • Sour cream
  • Fresh chopped cilantro


  1. Heat oil in a large high-sided skillet, add onion and sauté.
  2. Mix in garlic and spices.
  3. Add beans and tomatoes.
  4. Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Stir in tangerine martini mix and remove from heat.
  6. Season to taste with hot sauce (if desired).
  7. Top with sour cream and cilantro.
